While it may seem that the phasing out of second injury fund claims (15-8(d)) limits your cost-containment options, there are other ways to be efficient and cost effective in your claims handling.

Since the time to submit section 15-8 (d) evidence of PPI concluded as of July 1, 2010, we have shifted our focus to other ways of helping you handle your claims efficiently.

As an additional service, when the records from the initial canvass are received, we can identify and retrieve records from any other providers the claimant may have treated with, saving you time and expense dollars. We also offer custom canvasses, including orthopedic groups and chiropractic offices.

Our services will free up adjusters so they can handle their claims in a more efficient manner, reduce expenses associated with delayed hearings, rescheduled independent medical examinations and ongoing wage benefits.  We also offer the option of storing your medical records electronically, and the option of a comprehensive review and summary of the medical records.
